The 2JZ-GE's factory mapping is notoriously conservative. Our Stage 1 calibration attacks the electronic throttle lag, changing the pedal map to 1:1 for instant response. We also optimize the VVT-i overlap to fatten the mid-range torque curve (3,000–4,500 RPM) and raise the rev limiter to 6,800 RPM to let the inline-six sing.
