Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by LxL Performance (“LxL Performance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By scheduling services, submitting a booking deposit, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

LxL Performance provides custom automotive performance services, which may include but are not limited to:

  • ECU tuning and calibration
  • Performance diagnostics and data analysis
  • Mod-aware tuning adjustments
  • Select performance component installations

All services are customized based on vehicle make, model, year, condition, and confirmed modifications.

2. Estimates & Pricing

  • All quotes, instant quotes, and booking deposits are estimates only.
  • Final pricing may vary based on:
    • Vehicle condition
    • Confirmed modifications
    • Diagnostic findings
    • Time required to complete services

Any material changes to pricing will be communicated prior to completion.

3. Booking Deposits & Appointments

Certain services require a booking deposit to reserve a scheduled appointment. Deposits:

Failure to comply with appointment policies may result in forfeiture of the booking deposit.

4. Customer Responsibilities

By engaging LxL Performance, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete vehicle information, including all known modifications
  • Disclose any existing mechanical, electrical, or drivability issues
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a condition safe for diagnostics and tuning
  • Understand that undisclosed issues or modifications may affect results, timelines, and pricing

LxL Performance is not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer.

5. Assumption of Risk

Automotive performance services inherently involve mechanical and electronic risks. By authorizing services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Performance tuning may increase stress on vehicle components
  • Results may vary based on vehicle condition and usage
  • Pre-existing issues may be discovered or exacerbated during diagnostics or tuning

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with performance modifications and tuning.

6. No Guarantees

LxL Performance makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Specific horsepower, torque, or performance gains
  • Fuel economy changes
  • Long-term reliability outcomes

All performance results vary by vehicle and use case.

7. Compliance & Legal Use

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that their vehicle complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

LxL Performance does not provide legal advice regarding emissions, inspections, or vehicle compliance and does not guarantee legality for on-road use of modified vehicles.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • LxL Performance shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Liability for any claim related to services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability.

9. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

Customers agree to contact LxL Performance directly to resolve billing questions before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Unauthorized or improper chargebacks may result in refusal of future services.

10. Refusal of Service

LxL Performance reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at our discretion, including but not limited to situations involving:

  • Unsafe vehicle conditions
  • Misrepresentation of vehicle information
  • Abusive or inappropriate behavior

11. Force Majeure

LxL Performance shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, equipment failure, supply issues, or utility outages.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

LxL Performance reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
